Dear Loyal Customers

You are receiving this letter because you ordered our new A55 or A55X shimmer tights which we began shipping this past March.  In our goal of bringing you a tight that had both a soft hand and a high shimmer we used a yarn that has proven to be a disaster.  Some of you are already aware of this because of returns you may have taken from your customers.  The good news here is that we already have a solution in place for the tights and in fact have some inventory in the warehouse made from better yarn that will still give you a good hand feel, a shine that I actually think is an improvement, and the high quality that you have come to expect from Body Wrappers tights.  The other good news is that all of the children’s sizes, C55, have been made only from the better yarn.

The bad news is that we consider almost all of the A55 and A55X tights that have been shipped so far to be defective.  You will be shipped at no charge, new goods to replace any that were received to date.  It will take 3 weeks  to make all the stock necessary for this replacement program so please notify your sales rep or customer service if you have immediate needs.  We request that you pull your current inventory from stock and destroy it.  We want you to avoid selling these tights to consumers in order to prevent them from being upset with both our product and your store.  We ask simply that you remove and dispose of them quickly.  There is no reason to return them to us as they are not of value and why add to the loss with extra freight or your annoyance with extra work.  Please just destroy and toss them out.

There is one small exception and that would be for any tights that have the lot number 91771 on the upper right corner of the sku sticker.  Those are all good and if you find them in your stock please keep them.  Since we do not know who received tights from this lot you will still be shipped replacement tights which will be our small gift to you for your inconvenience.  Almost like winning the lottery of tights.
